565 - MILLER NY 958B R7 NGC MS61 20% Bright with nearly full Silvering. C. Wolfe, Clark & Spies Military Store, New York with pictures of George Washington and Andrew Jackson in ovals struck in Silvered Brass with Reeded edge. Rare merchant usually seen in very low grades, an example of NY958 without Silvering in VF with light scratches brought $385 in our December 2010 auction. From the John Ford collection earlier from Charles McSorley May 1962. (2000-3000)
