509 - LOW 365 / HT-339 R8 NGC XF45 BN Richard Williams Union Hall New York Good For Refreshment At The Bar with Odd Fellow heart in hand symbol on obverse and signed Bale on reverse. Despite Ford having three examples this is a very rare merchant. We can only account for six, including the EF Rulau plate specimen that realized $8,050 in the July 2008 Dice & Hicks sale and Ford's NGC AU58 brought $9,400 both offered by Stacks. From the John Ford collection earlier Christensen February 1963. (4000-6000)
