Long considered to be from Philadelphia, current research places Solomon Feather a hotelkeeper in Norristown Pennsylvania beginning in 1840. From the Steve Tanenbaum, Dice-Hicks and Troy Wiseman collections earlier from Stack's January 2009 sale where it realized $2,760. (2000-3000)
