All full brockage Hard Times tokens are very rare with no more than one or two known of any one die and in total no more than 25 examples of all dies. The late Steve Tanenbaum loved errors and in particular brockages and managed to amass thirteen examples. This example brought $661.25 in Stack's June 2004 sale. He felt that was a bargain and was prepared to go much higher. This sale will provide a wonderful opportunity for someone to pick up his mantle. From the Steve Tanenbuam and John Ford collections.
