Description
412 - LOW 4 / HT-6 R2 EF+ With tiny D counterstamped between forehead and C in Jackson. Andrew Jackson Reelected 1832. A very nice example of this popular token with a counterstamp that depending on your perspective could make it more or less interesting. These tiny D's are known on a number of different Hard Times tokens and are thought to be a collectors identification mark used by William Forrester Dunham. He counterstamped his entire collection including his 1804 Dollar! From the Don Miller and William Dunham collections. (400-500)
