193 - NY630AIa-1e R6 MS64 60% Bright. Havens Hatter 202 Broadway New York A Hat Bought For 10 Cts Less Than The Regular Price Marked By Presenting This One Check. Struck in White Metal with Plain edge 24mm. Formerly listed as Miller NY 302, current research indicates it was used during the Civil War. It is scheduled to be included in the next Store Card book with this designation and rarity. This is likely one of the finest known of an issue that frequently comes with problems. Because of its size, thinness and composition it is very difficult to get in nice condition, an EF brought $240 in our February 2014 auction. From the Ron Ward collection. (400-500)
