114 - KY480B-1a R9 NGC UNC Details With obverse cut still very attractive with 20% Red, attractive toning and nice luster. John W. Lee Confectioner, Lexington Kentucky struck in Copper with 1864 Indian Head reverse. Rare variety, just the fourth we have seen offered. Though tokens like this with reverse die 1047 are usually thought of as collector strikes, the other three examples we have recorded were all EF to AU. A raw AU brought $252 in our August 1996 sale.
