74 - NY F-10 C R9 NGC AU58 BN E. E. Bedford 127th New York State Volunteers 10 Cents struck in Copper with Koehler signed reverse. Rare sutler and just the second example of this denomination we have seen offered. A raw EF example of the more available R9 -25N variety sold for $1,138.50 in our June 2011 sale. From the John Ford collection earlier from Harmer Rooke May 1970. (1500-2000)
