801 - MILLER PA 238D VF With a few light marks. Jones (Pillar?) 25 (Pillar?) // Exchange Hotel 25 struck on a 27mm Brass planchet with Plain edge. We have seen the counterstamp on either side of the denomination described as a flower but can not see that, perhaps a flower vase. Unlisted in Adams and Miller. Be sure to see the Counterstamp section of this sale for a number of Jones Exchange Hotel pieces struck on coins. From the Richard Crosby and Ray Byrne collections. (400-500)
