693 - MILLER MI 11Ta EF With some small obverse stains. Foster & Perry, Grand Rapids. This is the very rare variety with the earlier 1845 to 1848 address 141 Water St. on the reverse. When the firm moved in 1848 the die was modified with the addition of nine stars over the date. We are aware of six total pieces with this address. We now know there are two different dies with this address, on this example there is no period after Warehouse while another variety does have a period and along with different placement of letters. We sold a VF in our March 2010 sale for $55 but are unaware which variety it was. If the winning bidder of that example or the one we sold in our June 2005 sale could let us know which variety they won it would be greatly appreciated. (50-75)
