680 - MILLER MD 7 EF With light staining. Baltimore ship and shield token struck in Brass with Plain edge between 1830 and 1836. The stars in the die are cut over smaller stars so we will call this MD 7 rather than MD 8 although the planchet seems thin rather than thick. These often have merchant counterstamps, definitely a series in need of more study. From the Richard Crosby collection. (150-200)
