669 - HT-905 R7 VF Coin GOOD+. W. LEVIS counterstamped in raised letters within a ribbon shaped depression on the obverse of an 1807 Mexico City Two Real. Rulau attributes this piece to Philadelphia silversmith William Levis and with 1836 the latest dated coins now includes it in the Hard Times period. From the John Ford collection. (750-1000)
