659 - LOW 364 / HT-M17 R4 MS63 Sharply struck with great detail. Wm. J. Mullen Gold Dial Manufacturer, New York with a detailed reverse scene featuring angels. Stuck by Charles Cushing Wright from die cut by Louisa Lander apparently in 1847. Another MS63 brought $525 in our July 2012 auction. From the John Ford collection earlier from F. C. C. Boyd in May 1957. In a NGC holder graded MS63 BN as a Miller NY 616. (500-750)
