603 - LOW 112 / HT-243 R2 MS62 Or better with 20% Red mainly on the obverse. Reverse die was grease filled resulting in a few stars and the 18 of date weak or missing. H. Crossman (Umbrella) Manufacturer, New York 1837 with Ugly Liberty head. Rare in Uncirculated particularly with this much red. A duplicate from the Steve Tanenbaum collection earlier from Bill Panitch in October 1981, kept as a late die state. (300-400) See pictures.
