363 - NY630AZ-1a R4 EF+ Well but unevenly struck with one of the NY missing and Trace Red in the letters. Use L. Miller's Hair Invigorator, New York. Very underrated variety and formerly one of the keys to a New York merchant set. It will be combined with the struck variety as NY630AY-3a in the next edition of the Store Card book. A similar example brought $542.10 in our December 2010 sale. From the Henry South collection earlier from Al Jakira's July 1992 sale. (200-300)
