Very rare obverse die featuring oval denticles, unique in the Gleason series and by far the finest of just three we have seen offered. Steve Tanenbaum's EF realized $300 in our July 2012 sale. From the Cliff Temple collection earlier from Amer L. Lincoln on December 11th 1939 for $0.35. In a NGC holder graded MS62 BN. (1000-1500) See pictures.
