866 - MILLER PA 425A EF+ 10% Bright. W. H. Richardson 104 Market St., Philadelphia Pennsylvania struck in Brass with Reeded edge. Struck from an unlisted obverse die with the most obvious feature being the ornament above Philada is to the right of the L rather than to the left. There are at least two know of this variety and John Ford was aware of this variety so presumably an additional example exists with his collection. Since we became aware of this variety we have been unable to confirm the existence of PA 424 as described in Rulau, let us know what you find in your collections. (25-50)
