642 - RULAU DC-Wa 27 MS63 50% Bright and Proof Like. Society Army of the Tennessee Washington City 1876 struck in White Metal with 1864 dated McPherson reverse (Patriotic die 537). The reverse die is signed G.H.L. for die sinker George H. Lovett. A similar example in our June 2011 sale realized $123.20. (100-150)
