Description
594 - LOW 176 / HT-434 R5 VF Uneven strike as usual with some missing letters but full Chelsea VT and complete 1835 both very unusual. Gustin & Blake Tin Copper and Sheet Iron Workers, Chelsea Vermont. Distinguishing between Low 175 and 176 is difficult
and we believe a Low 175 illustrates both varieties in Rulau. Refer to lot 318 in the Ford Hard Times sale for a well struck Low 176 note on reverse the base of the T's in Stoves and Tin, base of E in Ware and left base of W overlapping the center dot. Earlier
from Mike Ringo July 11th 1993. In a NGC holder graded VF25 BN but called HT-433. (750-1000)
