262 - MI480A-1a R9 MS63 30% Red. Baker & Brown, Hudson Michigan. Very rare underrated merchant. The is the only example of this variety and the only Uncirculated example from this merchant we have ever seen offered. A VF of the more available -2a variety sold for $450 in our July 2009 auction. From the Cliff Temple collection earlier from James Kelly December 20th 1941 for $0.50 and said to be ex. Virgil Brand. In a NGC holder graded MS63 RB. (1500-2000)
