NY630AGa-1h Unl NGC AU Samuel Hart & Co. Union Card Counter New York struck in Black Hard Rubber with US Flag on one side and a hand holding four aces on the other.  Rare merchant and very neat item.  Though thought to be issued during the Civil War this toke is currently NOT scheduled to be included in the next edition of the Civil War Store Card book.  The reason for exclusion is that the words Poker Check indicate it may have been used as a poker chip rather than an advertising card as were most other Hard Rubber pieces of this era. In a NGC holder graded AU55. From the Alan Bleviss collection. (1,500-2,000)
