46/339 d R8 MS66 40% Bright. 1864 Liberty stuck in Copper Nickel on a slightly larger than normal planchet with no reverse die crack that is often seen on circulated Copper specimens. This piece indicates that many in not most off metal and collector strikes were struck at the same time if not before the circulating strikes. In a NGC holder graded MS66. (1,000-1,500)
