Description

Civil War token Fuld OH330G-1b R8 PCGS MS64 or a bit better and nearly Proof Like.  Roberts & Sheldon, Fremont Ohio struck in Brass with popular The Triumph reverse die 1306 which features a vintage stove. We sold a Raw "Nice Uncirculated" example of the more available R5 -1a variety for $327 on eBay in September 2019 and another example of that -1a variety in Raw "Very Nice Uncirculated" for $462 also on eBay in December 2017. For those unfamiliar with the eccentricities of eBay, in the coins catagory owners are not allowed to grade there own items with numerical grades. That privilege is reserved for "Professional Graders" like NGC, PCGS and perhaps ANACS and SEGS (I have not checked). So the code I use is Uncirculated means 61-62, Nice Uncirculated means 62-63, Very nice Uncirculated means 63-64 and Choice Uncirculated means 64-65. I tend to be conservative and I very rarely call anything Raw more than MS65 but I do call items Details if I feel the would not or should not get into a regular NGC or PCGS holder. From the Q. David Bowers and Joe Kuehnert collections in a special PCGS holder with Dave's picture and facsimile signature.
