1054 - Spence's Tree of Liberty Condor token Raw MS64 40% Red 1796 British Condor token Middlesex 883b with Plain edge. Obverse has four men dancing around maypole labeled Tree of Liberty with a man's head atop pole, possibly that of Prime Minister William Pitt. The reverse has seated female labeled Rouse Britannia with cap in the wind. From the Dave Bowers collection earlier Stack's July 2008 where it realized $431.25. (750-1000)
