1048 - Carncross and Dixey's Minstrels Shell Card Philadelphia Raw MS62 30% Bright. Carncross and Diey's Minstrels Eleventh St. Opera House, 11th Street, Above Chestnut St. Every Evening 1868. A very popular minstrel show operated by John L. Carncross and E. F. Dixey from 1862-1878. It was said to be more family oriented than the typical minstrel show. This is the Bowers plate specimen.
