996 - Bolen JAB-10 Silver Raw MS63 Lightly toned with very nice centering and strike. Bolen's 1860's copy of the famous 1737 Higley Copper struck in Silver 28mm Plain 2.4mm edge. Said to be one of just two struck in Silver, though that number seems to be off by at least one. We sold a Raw AU+ with poorer centering and strike than the present example that realized $1,750 in our October 2011 sale. From the Dave Bowers collection. (3000-4000)
