915 - AL 1860-34 WM Raw MS63 40% Bright and a bit unevenly strike. Abraham Lincoln Republican Candidate For President 1860 (around bust right signed J.D.L. for John D. Lovett) // The Union Must And Shall Be Preserved (around all-seeing eye). Struck in White Metal with a Reeded edge, 31mm. Popular with Civil War token collectors as the reverse is listed as Patriotic die 228 which is quite rare and usually brings $2,000+ in Uncirculated condition. We sold a NGC MS60 example in our January 2015 that brought $1,585. From the Dave Bowers collection from Rossa & Tannenbaum June 1999. (1500-2000)
