11 - 38/438 a R9 NGC MS64 RB Trace Red. Extremely rare Double Header with two very rare Patriotic dies the Phoenician and Mercury heads both signed by Lutz and struck in Copper. A NGC MS64 example in Copper-Nickel brought $6,684.44 in our March 2008 sale and a raw AU Details cleaned and retoned Copper example sold for $3,250 in our October 2011 auction. The holder states it is the Fuld Plate, this must have been the first edition as neither side appear to match the current plates and unfortunately we were not able to locate our first edition for comparison.
