180 - NY890A-3b R10 PCGS MS63 Trace Bright. C. Babcock Jeweler, Troy New York One Cent Token 1863 struck in Brass and believed to be Unique as such. Rare dies that when seen are almost invariably struck in White Metal, low grade and poorly struck. Crude die work with tiny Arm and Hammer. In October 2002 we sold a Raw EF+ Details with light marks example of the R7 -3e version for $176. From the Dave Bowers collection from Rossa & Tanenbaum, in one of Dave's special holders with picture and facsimile signature. (400-500)
