163 - NY630AQ-7a R9 NGC MS65 BN With very nice luster. Very rare double tailed Lindenmueller featuring the Beer Mug side rather than the self portrait on the following lot. Gustavus Lindenmueller ran afoul with the law regarding his regular issue tokens even though they contained more copper than his competitor's. This example struck with two tails was likely made for contemporary collectors. This and the next lot would make a very interesting short set. From the Lumberton and Steve Tanenbaum collections.
