81 - CT560aA-1b R8 NGC MS64 20% Bright. Gilbert B. Hotchkiss 1 Pint Milk Business Card struck in Brass. Always a rare merchant but also known not to be from Cincinnati for quite some time. Current research now places his dairy business in Waterbury Connecticut and it has been placed there in the third edition of the Store Card book. When seen these are usually in lower grades and often with problems, this is likely the finest known. From the Lumberton, Steve Tanenbaum and Lionel Ruddock collections, earlier from Bowers & Merena's November 1990 sale. (750-1000)
