80 - WV-11-5Ba R9 NGC VF30 Bare & Rauch Sutlers, 11th West Virginia Regimen 5 Cents In Goods with Stanton Stamp & Brand Cutter back stamp. West Virginia as a state was brought about as a direct result of the Civil War, being admitted to the Union on June 20th 1863. Sutler tokens by the 11th West Virginia were the only ones to use this new designation and as such are one of the rarest states for these historic pieces. From the Bob Shallowitz, Rich Irons and Steve Tanenbaum collections, earlier from Jerry Schaefer and Kurt Krueger. (12000-16000)
