414 - MILLER NY 42 NGC MS62 30% Bright. Herr Alexander From His Friend In New York 1847 in Gilt Brass with Plain edge. Alexander was a Magician and his tokens are quite popular. The high relief dies were cut by Charles Cushing Wright and signed C.C.W. on the obverse. Very rarely seen this nice with full Gilt plating, we sold a Raw AU+ example in our July 2014 auction that brought $211.99. From the Don Partrick collection, earlier from Bowers and Ruddy's January 1975 sale at $16.50. (300-400)
