Description
400 - LOW 108 / HT-430 R6 NGC MS61 Trace Bright. R. L. Baker Good For 1 Glass Soda Water, Charleston South Carolina 1837 struck in German Silver. Counterstamped with a tiny D indicating it was once part of the William Forrester Dunham collection. He counterstamped his entire collection including his 1804 Dollar! Very rare and much nicer than normally seen with problems as often seen. We sold an NGC AU50 example for $5,500 in our January 2016 sale. From the Don Partrick, Don Miller and George Hetrich collections, earlier from Dave Bowers via John Ford on June 29th 1983 for $2,450. (8000-12000)
