389 - LOW 372A / HT-301 R8 NGC AU50 BN With a cancellation punch mark on reverse as the Rulau plate specimen. New York & Harlaem Rail Road Company with Leaf counterstamp struck in Copper. A vintage carriage is on the reverse signed B & S NY for the maker Bale and Smith. Exceedingly rare, we sold a Raw EF Details example dark with green verdigris spots in our June 2012 auction that realized $2,390. From the Don Partrick collection from Rossa and Tanenbaum at $1,200.
