356 - LOW 51 / HT-70 R1 PCGS VF30 Struck over an 1835 Large Cent. The Constitution As I Understand It Roman Firmness Veto with Jackass labeled LLD. A fantastic overstrike on a US Coin with the date 1835 boldly visible. 1835 is later than the 1833 and 1834 date traditionally assigned to this variety and may indicate a date of manufacture closer to 1837 as is used on many other Hard Times Tokens. From the Dave Bowers and Steve Tanenbaum collections, earlier from Richard August February 1974. (1500-2000)
