58 - MA115D-2b R8 NGC MS62 Trace Bright. Merriam & Co., Boston Massachusetts struck in Brass with very rare and desirable Salamander seal press obverse die. If that were not enough the reverse die is the ever popular Good For A Scent dog. We sold a Raw EF Details with dark green residue that brought $1,818.30 in our October 2002 sale. Most examples are well worn, though Heritage sold an NGC AU50 for $3,600 in their January 2021 sale. Reverse Die: 1284. (4000-6000)
