52 - IN760B-1a R6 PCGS MS63 BN Reed & Spayde, Pierceton Indiana 1863 with Eagle. Made by Alexander Gleason of Hillsdale Michigan a fairly prolific manufacturer of crude tokens almost exclusively for southern Michigan merchants. Like the nearby Indiana Primitives issued by Higgins, Gleason's tokens are quite scarce and exhibit a homemade quality. The only non-Michigan store card made by Gleason. Rare above VF, a Raw example of which sold for $210 in our February 2014 auction with an NGC AU58 selling for $1,000 less than a year later.
