45 - IN500P-1do Unlisted PCGS MS64 30% Bright struck over a Copper Nickel Indian Head Cent. Miller & Crow Dealers In Groceries & Provisions, Kendallville Indiana 1864 with Beehive reverse. Struck in Copper Nickel Cent of undetermined date and unlisted as such. The E and ENT of One Cent are easily visible on the reverse and the Chin, Nose and Neck of the Indian Princess are also easily visible on the obverse. A very important piece, the only Indiana Civil War token struck over a Cent that we know of and most likely Unique. From the Tom Reed, Dave Bowers and Don Schramm collections earlier from Rossa & Tanenbaum. Holder calls IN500P-1d without noting the overstrike. Reverse Die: 1350. (1000-1500)
