32 - IN260C-3a R9 PCGS AU58 With nice toning and luster. C. T. Greene & Co. Groceries & Provision Dealers, Elkhart Indiana 1863. Struck from the rare obverse die though the variety is now overrated at R9 and more likely actually R8. It is now thought that -2a and -3a are the same variety both with the previously unpictured obverse. We sold a Raw EF+ that realized $511 in our December 2010 sale. From the Dave Bowers and Steve Tanenbaum collections. Reverse Die: 1161. (750-1000)
