Description
289 - NY890B- 9b R2 Raw VF Oliver Boutwell, Troy New York. This particular die combination comes more than occasionally as a Flip Over Double Strike while this is the first example we can remember with a convention Double Strike mint error. There is good detail on the first strike particularly on the reverse. Interestingly the obverse strike is rotated less than 45 degrees while the reverse is rotated approximately 180 degrees. (50-75)
