168 - IL692A- 1b R9 Raw MS63 30% Bright. Yankee Robinson The Great Comedian with pictorial of Robinson in top hat with rifle struck in Brass. Robinson operated a traveling Circus and is listed under Peoria Illinois where his base of operations was located at the time these Civil War tokens were issued. Very rare variety the first we have offered though we do have records of two other being offered, one possibly this very example. From the Dave Bowers collection. Data: 315°, 50.1 grains, 19.1 mm.
