65 - 144/349 b Unlisted Raw UNC Details With a few small spots. US Grant with cannons, flags, rifles and drums struck in Brass with a reeded edge. This obverse die had been listed as non-contemporary but has been included again in the latest edition of the Patriotic book as possibly non-contemporary. This die combination is currently unlisted in any composition and although the reverse die was used in 1864 any future listing will likely also be listed as possibly non-contemporary. Very rare and just the second example we have recorded. From the Dave Bowers collection. Data: 350°, 51.9 grains, 18.4 mm. (300-400)
