62 - 142/0 e Die Trial R10 Raw MS63 20% Bright. Large irregular 27mm uniface die trial. George McClellan obverse die trial well centered on a large planchet, quite impressive. The planchet appears to have been some scrape at the shop that had also been used to test to small number and eagle punches. We sold another similar Raw MS64 die trial for this die on a larger round planchet for $1,301 in our December 2017 sale. From the Mark Glazer and John J. Ford collections. (1000-1500)
