21 - 34/279 a R9 Raw VF Details With a number of light marks. 1863 Union with eagle. Struck by Childs of Chicago on a broad 22mm planchet, apparently the norm for this very rare die combination. The fourth example we have seen offered, all well worn and a variety missing from the Tanenbaum collection. A Raw FINE+ brought $400 in our October 2011 sale. From the Dave Bowers collection.
