461 - PARISIAN / VARIETIES / 16. St & B'WAY. N. Y. on the obverse of an 1874 Arrows Seated Half Dollar NGC XF45 BN Coin EF, counterstamp EF. According to Rulau Parisian Varieties was an erotic show of nubile young ladies in 1875 and 1876. This counterstamp is known on a number of different Half Dollars making for a challenging collection by date and mint mark. Very choice coin and stamp. Miller 627 Rulau NY NY 230 From the John J.
