417 - WI510AP-3a R9 NGC MS64 RB Trace Red all on the struck side. H. Upmeyer Jeweler, Milwaukee Wisconsin obverse brockage combined with a normal Stephen Douglas reverse. Most brockages have a struck and incused image of the same die, very rarely does a very strange set of coincidences or mint mischief create a piece such as this. Though called an R9 this is the only example we have seen offered. The description in the Store Card books second edition was incorrect and was carried forward to the latest edition. From the Matt Westphal, Robert Kraft, Rich Hartzog, Doug Watson and George Fuld collection. This is the Fuld Plate Specimen for the 2nd edition of the Store Card book. Reverse Die: 1155. (3000-4000)
