Popular token with horse drawn beer wagon. This had been unlisted until recently despite being in Cliff Temple's collection for over 50 years and being correctly identified as Brass in his notes. We have not seen an example of this die combination offered in Copper. It is quite possible that this piece is Unique and the Copper variety does not exist, in fact the reverse of the listed -3a was corrected from 1214 in the first edition of the Store Card book and not listed In H&G in 1924. A VF+ example of the R4 -1a variety brought $488.88 in our July 2009 sale.
