275 - MI225BI-2i R9 NGC MS65 70% Bright with full Tin plating. Joseph Riggs Groceries, Provisions & Flour, Detroit 1863 struck in Tin Plate. Very rare as are nearly all Tin Plated tokens, this is the only example of this variety we have seen offered. We sold a NGC MS64 example of the equally rare MI225C-2i for $575 in our January 2015 auction. From the Cliff Temple collection. Reverse Die: 1042. (750-1000)
