267 - MI060aA-2a R8 PCGS MS64 BN A bit weakly struck opposite the shield. Wm. Brooks, Battle Creek & Elkhart Indiana. Very rare and desirable variety with Indiana Primitive reverse and a Childs obverse. Brooks may have retained possession of the Childs die after the striking of -3a, -4a and -5a and then at a later date had Higgins strike -1a, -2a and -6a. We sold an NGC XF40 for $189 in our January 2015 sale. From the Dave Bowers, Steve Tanenbaum and Ron Vore collections December 1978. Reverse Die: 1202. (750-1000)
